Once Upon a Time

Many years ago I received a reminder card for a hairdresser in Chelsea called 'Scissors' which had a lovely old photo of a Victorian child wearing a white shift with long thick hair. The caption on the card was 'It won't come straight' and the girl was holding a hairbrush. This image is based on that - hence the hairbrush!
